New sponsor for Whitehaven AFC Under 14 Girls!!!

Whitehaven AFC U14 Girls are pleased to announce their new sponsors, who are Whitehaven Town Council. After wearing their previous strip for three consecutive seasons the girls were desperate for a new one! Parent, Ann Marie Houghton, contacted the Whitehaven Town Council and they were more than happy to help. Special mentions should go to councillor Ryan Redmond of Sneckyeat North, councillor Charles Maudling of Whitehaven Central and the Mayor of Whitehaven Councillor Brian O’kane who all used their ward grants to support the U14 Girls new kit. Councillor Charles Maudling was on hand to present the new kits to the girls on Sunday, pictured below.

Lead coach Jamie Mckendrey said "This is the girls eighth year as a team and yet again we have been blown away by the generosity and support of people in our community! We can't thank them enough".
