Whitehaven AFC u7 Lionesses are pleased to announce their new sponsor as the brilliant Beauty in the Barn.
Since Whitehaven AFC began Girls football in 2011 the Club has seen a huge hunger from girls to play football and gain the benefits this wonderful game can give to young girls, through fitness, confidence, feeling part of a team and huge social benefits, and the club continued this Summer to support Girls Football by not creating just 1 but 2 u7 Girls teams consisting of 14 brilliant young Lionesses!!
Beauty in the Barn has been terrific on their support of these little Lionesses as they do what they love and it’s great a local business based at Westlakes Moor Row had joined our team!! Owner Polly Sanders was quick to the girls aid when she heard they didnt have a kit!
The coaches and the u7 led by experienced coaches Neil Herherington, Jamie McKendrey & Adam Robson said ‘The girls really appreciate the support Polly has shown for the girls by providing them with an identity for their first ever season as a team. It’s more than just a kit for these girls, as we say, it creates an identity and a belonging, plus they love to see what number they have and which players have THEIR number. We just really chuffed to bits the girls have this kit and look fantastic and fully part of the whole Girls & Ladies set up we have built at Whitehaven.’
